First Test - February 28, 2006 - Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka
Friday, October 31, 2025 - After leaving the M.A. Aziz stadium Jubair and I jumped in a Tuk Tuck / Wrinshaw and headed over to the Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium (BSFLMRCS) to watch the West Indies take on Bangladesh in the 3rd and final T20I. We got there just before the match started and though it was now night, that did not dampen the wonderful time that I was about to have. Jubair headed off to his media center and I made my way to the stands sitting just in front of the West Indies' dressing room. The was the last match for Ronald Rogers, strength and conditioning coach of the West Indies team, and someone whom I have had many conversations with in different countries on this World tour. He saw me in the stands and made sure that I got a couple of bottles of water with the extreme heat that we were experiencing at the stadium. I left the stadium when the game ended but before the West Indies team left, this way I could see them when they arrived at their hotel, which happened to be the same hotel that I, and the Bangladesh team, along with the umpires, were all staying, the Radisson Blu - Chattogram Bay View.
